The encoded protein is involved in linking the actin cytoskeleton with vesicle formation by regulating tubulin polymerization. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. [provided by RefSeq, May 2010] Function: May play a role in vesicle formation and transport. Subunit: Homodimer. May form heterooligomers with other PACSINs.Interacts (via NPF motifs) with EHD1 (via EH domain). Interacts with EHD3. Interacts (via the SH3 domain) with MICALL1. Interacts with RAC1.
