Lipocalin 2 is a member of the lipocalin family which encompass more than 25 members (including proteins like retinol binding protein, a1 microglobulin, b lactoglobulin, apolipoprotein D and odorant binding protein). The members of the lipocalin family are characterized by their ability to bind small lipophilic substances in their hydrophobic core, and thereby serve as transporters of substances. Paraformaldehyde-fixed, paraffin embedded (human colon carcinoma); Antigen retrieval by boiling in sodium citrate buffer (pH6.0) for 15min; Block endogenous peroxidase by 3% hydrogen peroxide for 20 minutes; Blocking buffer (normal goat serum) at 37°C for 30min; Antibody incubation with (LCN2) Polyclonal Antibody, Unconjugated (bs-43518R) at 1:200 overnight at 4°C, followed by operating according to SP Kit(Rabbit) (sp-0023) instructionsand DAB staining.
Measured by its binding ability in a indirect ELISA. Immobilized Human NGAL protein, HisTag (Cat. bs-43518P) at 2 μg/mL (100 μL/well) can bind Rabbit Anti-Human NGAL Antibody, the EC50 is 106 ng/mL.
